This video used ASXMOV-GS (5M),1.3M Solid slider,2D and 3D heads G6,G4S,because of the modual,different heads could mount on all different silders 。

Ok, here I am going to share my experiences of doing time-lapse; This time-lapse only take a short time, about three days, and doing a rough dispose, something like a not edited video! of cause, video is not showing perfect. at the beginning I have a lot of ideas about this job, so I can't stay too long for every spot. it's actually a wrong way for you to do a time-lapse, time-lapse is not only depend on the weather, but also luck and patient. First day in the morning, it's cloudy, but till noon beautiful sunshine was came out! so I couldn't let that go. I took a long big scenes continuously.

Time-lapse is a job that cost huge time and vigor, normally outdoors, so pack you bag full with powers. doesn't matter it's camera battery ,slider battery, cellphone, portable power, make sure they are full of power(otherwise you can only play with your fingers while you waiting for the battery charging.)
Ration soldier! You are not going to have time to have you meals in front of a dining-table and you can't keep working for a whole day without eating!
While using the slider especially the multi axis head, it's different from normal time-lapse taking experience, it's need to be focus on the angles and sync motions, easy to show a picture full of motional and stereoscopic impression, this is also the charm of multi axis slider. ASXMOV sliders can preview the path that camera goes, time-lapse, even video mode preview, and that is the control of the pics.
This picture showing below is the position preset of my job, the motional impression is not good enough as I said.
when I was rolling this video I changed another angle, and used the 5M connetable slider's advantage, with G6 3D head mounted on, building up the video satuation. Let the lens changed from looked up to the towers shifted to outside of the tower panoramic shot, during the motion change the focus at the same time, focus changed from 35mm to 16mm.
● The setting of the camera
In daytime, light was not changing to much I used Manual, because it's still OK if the weather turn cloudy light maybe changing a little, and I don't need to deal with the flicker afterward.
If the light is changing too much, like evening to night I use AV (Shutter Speed Priority Auto Exposure),manual 白平衡调色温。
拍摄的时候会选择RAW格式拍摄,内存卡最好使用32G以上,使用RAW拍摄可以弥补一些拍摄是时候不足,可调整的空间会更大,这样不至于这一组镜头是白费的。这次拍摄我选择这个格式,sRAW2格式既可以占用较小内存,也保留了画面的细节,不过分辨率只达到2784*1856。(画幅有要求和内存卡充足的可以略过)
Now the intros of the artificial effects and experinces
software used, LR(Lightroom)+AE(Adobe after effect)+PR(Adobe Premiere)
Lightroom's Import setting is quite easy, and there are some advantages of it:
first choose a picture, then adjust the color, coefficients depend on materials, adjust the exposure of the picture,raise the satuation. Left side is original picture, right side one is modified, LR has the setting of split screen.
Right click this picture—modify picture setting—copy setting
Ctrl—A select all of the picture
Paste the setting, and all pictures modified by same parameters of the previous picture you set.
LR has a sync setting to apply.
Click—Active sync setting, clean the pictrues' impurity, which caused by dust on the lence, Aperture over F8 will be more clear to see, maybe CMOS has dust either, In LR normally use batch modify impurities to fix the problems.
Now is time to export the pictures that had modified.
Set the saving ways, every single shot need a seperate file, easy to manage, export need to be original size, RAW transfer to JPG。
Now we can import to PR start the after effects modify.
PR document settings, 25frames/sec, others could keep them default.
Video scale 16:9,output form: 1920*1080,Cannon 5D2 photos and videos are 4:3, so in the after effects we need to cut them to avoid black edging.(be aware about that while you taking the shots)
Put in music, deal with flicker problems we will use Digital Anarchy Flicher Free add-on to match the colors of each shot, also you can do it in PR, PR's Lumetri color is powerful, transfer then we could export the video.
